this is chaos for no reason, arguments, bickering, petty tiddy baby crap! don't engage walk away, why oh why don't I listen to my own advice. lolol I have been arguing silly stuff all week and I just cant s...eem to walk away even though it's stuff that doesn't effect me.......apparently I have a point of view OOPS! my bad!
it really is sparring, for the sake of practice. no ones going to accomplish anything or come to any understanding because no one wants that. sustaining the turmoil is the goal, some people life their life as a drama and that's all they know. believe me it's pointless so do as I say and withdraw, mayhaps i'll be able to do the same if I turn off the phone, computer, and place my fingers in my ears and say LOUDLY "LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA " 
 

the devil

todays card is the DEVIL:
and I choose the epic Eric Northman from True Blood as a perfect representation of that Devil energy. it's bein tied to baser emotions (lust, greed, anger) but sometimes he makes it hurt so good. and we stick with ...the evil/pain we know rather than take that leap of faith and do what we need to do for our higher self. sometimes when it's good physically we enjoy those chains binding us to earthly desires so much we don't realize what we're giving up in order to wallow in that lust. now there's absolutely nothing wrong with good sex but without love it's simple animal instinct and that can only get you so far before you start to feel alone/empty/desperate and if that's where you are then you need to know you are worth it and take that leap of faith to move beyond this energy.
if it's an addiction then take this as a sign to get help, if it's obsession let it go you cant make someone love you if they don't. when I decided that I deserved the best and I stopped settling for what was available I figured out I can do/achieve anything I don't need to be held back or down by those chains anymore. I'm unfettered by those unhealthy ties and I/m free to soar.......so take a long hard look at your life and decide what you want it to be, you can soar as free and high as you want if you just believe!

the sun

the sun brings pleasure and promise with it and even challenging situations can be met with optimism under it's glow. it's a blank page ready for you to fill it with joy, it's a gift so accept it's promise and enjoy it without reservation!

temperance

todays card is TEMPERANCE:
balance is essential in all areas of life, and to be happy and sane you certainly have to work towards that. it's far too easy to get caught up in the magical/mystical parts of life and to let the mundane go to hell or vice versa. I mean I know people who brag about how they can control the weather but they cant physically tie their own shoes because they're so out of whack. I also know people who are the salt of the earth and hard working but wouldn't know a miracle if Jesus came down and handed it to them.
so we're goin for a happy medium here, why not have the best of both worlds. if you believe and you DO then you'll have what you need when you need it, absolutely! that doesn't mean to sit around waiting for it to happen willy nilly, effort and results go hand in hand.
so just pay attention EQUALLY to all aspects of life and enjoy them all as well.
if temperance comes up something is kaka so really take a look at it, and please oh please if there's an addiction problem seek professional help from a therapist, your clergy/preacher, family, AA, or if you're dealing with a family memebers problems try to find some support for YOU!

isn't the comfort zone nice and cozy and couldn't you just chill and hang out here forever.....................NOT! looks like time to shake things up and take that BIG ole leap of faith. turn your back on a...ll you know and love and venture forth dear traveler now is the time to start that new quest you've been putting off for a while now. I'd suggest doin it voluntarily lest spirit be forced to give you a spiritual 2 x 4 upside your head. we all know that's no fun so better get to getting whilst you still can do it voluntarily!

todays card is the EIGHT of SWORDS:
this picture of me just screams 8 of swords to me in this black and white version. I look so on guard and reserved and emotionless. it's funny how taking away the color (flavor/freedom) can change somethi...ng. mayhaps a lesson for me indeed. this is self imposed restriction and that goes two ways. there is restricting who/what you let into your life out of fear. the past can definitely affect the future if you let it, and being orphaned, emancipated, and living by me\yself with no safety net certainly made me wary of others. I had to be to survive. however that's no longer the case and I have forced myself to tear down some of those walls and let others in..........are you blocking your own happiness and prosperity by keeping others at bay? does fear keep you from getting to the next level? it's time to examine why you do the things you do, mayhaps a change I needed. learn to trust your instincts again!
or do you NEED to set limits on yourself? are you paying you bills before you go shopping for new clothes, are you partying too much and letting your grades slip? have you been unfaithful or stolen, cheated, etc etc...........then it's time to set boundaries on yourself and some strict ones too. mayhaps not easy but self tough-love is the most rewarding in the end.
all in all this card is about bringing things out of balance into balance so you can be that happy fulfilled person you were meant to and deserve to be!

the star

todays card is the STAR:
the star is the hope that comes after the loss and chaos of the Devil and Tower. it is the reconnecting to that cosmic energy that we come from. it allows you to "reach for the stars" that is the part of you that he...eds the universal call to light.
it's all about finding the balance and courage to look into that sacred pool and see the real you without illusion or even rose colored glasses. the star is a lovely place to be but it's merely a sort of cosmic weigh station to get your bearings and re-energize before you must do the real work that the moon has in store for y'all..................

today in honor of fathers day I picked Lorne Greene as Ben Cartright to exemplify our perfect dad aka the EMPEROR:
he is the practical and down to earth get it done energy. the empress has all the ideas but he's the one to get it done. he u...nderstands how to take the etheral and make it into reality, great in a crisis and always willing to lend a hand. to some he may seem gruff and a bit aloof but to those under his care/protection he is a formidable ally indeed.
he understands hard work and sacrifice because he earned his authority by the sweat of his brow. he also listened and paid attention along the way and is a font of wisdom if you but ask for it.
he's seeming calm demeanor belies the passionate nature he possesses. he doesn't rile easy but if you cross him be prepared for the consequences.
this card really is about old fashioned values and the pursuit of gentlemanly ideals. his word is his bond, and a handshake is set in stone. he may seem to expect the impossible but that's because he understands what your capable of and will not let you shirk responsibility or settle for anything other than your very best.
if you're lucky enough to have the emperor in your life try to appreciate and understand where he's coming from. the strictness may seem dictatorial but it comes from a place of love and concern and for all the daddy's girls out there ya know no one will ever be good enough for his little angel ( and you'll be that FOREVER)
as for the boys , them are some BIG shoes to fill and a lot to live up to. don't compare yourself and make it a competition stand firm to your dreams and what you value, even if he doesn't feel the same way he'll be proud of you for being man enough to stick to your guns.

with all the chaos of mercury retrograde, Friday the 13 and the full moon to boot I felt the need to look at what brings calm into the storm. this is Arch angel Raphael he is the cosmic life breath, Prana, and his... influence streams over the couple. this is a good union and extrodinary things shall come to this partnership. but you must make a conscious decision to embrace that which is promised.

todays card is SHADOWDANCE aka The DEVIL:
in a world where we work diligently to improve ourselves physically, mentally , and spiritually he's the imp who whispers in your ear to have fun, call out of work, have the affair, cut class, cheat..., tell a white lie, etc etc. he's very tempting and as with all he's not all bad as long as you balance the fun and frivolity within what works for your life. it's sometimes important to allow a little of this devilish fun into your life and revel in it. just remember that he's fickle and responsibility is something he knows nothing of so too much of his kinda fun comes with consequences..................but my oh my he's wrapped himself in a beautiful package that makes saying no sooooooooooo very difficult.

imagine my surprise when looking thru my tarot of the hidden realm and my dear friend Yvette is staring back at me from the Queen of Cups. it's a striking resemblance and she perfectly embodies the essence ...of the Queen. death

todays card is Death:
death can be literal as well as figurative. it is the ending of a cycle or time whether energetically or physically. in tarot it most often comes up when it's time to let go and move on, it can be traumatic but only if you cling to the known (good or bad) and refuse to move forward. that brings stagnation and pain oftentimes, so why not let go and allow it to fade away while the bright new dawn beckons us. fear holds us in limbo oftentimes and makes us cling to the misery we know as opposed to the possibility of joy/growth that exists.
I attended my monthy tarot group last night and got some illuminating and wonderful messages about the journey I'm on and the process of allowing my truth to change and mutate into THE truth, Death is the process allowing that to happen. the ideals I have projected and protected were my vison/version of the truth and I painted them with rose colored glasses firmly on face. allowing reality into my illusion doesn't change the reality iot merely lets my truth intergrate to a whole new level of understanding.
the Death card for me represented (in MY reading) difficult females and my perception of what is female. this is a recurring theme in my life, I lost my mama when I was a mere wee lad and have always seen her with that mama's boy perfection. however that was far from reality as she was human and she had some really big issues and flaws. for whatever reason she kept me away from the darkness surrounding her and I never knew (dealing at 46 is eye opening to say the least) for whatever reason my sister wasn't so lucky and we have been estranged thru no fault of our own for many decades. I'm integrating this new info into my truth and honoring hers without changing my concept/memory of mama at all. she was beautiful and complex (aren't we all)
I said there was multiple females and there are, mama was but the first. I have tended to be drawn to very flawed/damaged women as friends and mayhaps subconsciously I was trying to offer them the assistance I wasn't able to offer mama. so as I evolve away from this need to "fix" the women around me I have opened up myself to allowing some wonderful beautiful women into my life, I just have to remember not to project my screwed up ideas onto the present and future as the past slips away. I'm also reminded that I need to forgive and I do that regularly. forgetting is another matter my step-mother has been reaching out and I just cant go there. she was pretty awful and it even ended up with me being emancipated by the court and suing her for my daddys insurance money (I won) it was acrimonious to say the least. I have no desire to let her back into my life because in her dotage she feels the need to rid herself of guilt. that is her bed and she can lie in it..................so I release you of all pain that I felt and hope that you are well/happy but I am not bound by honor or need to let you back in. so mote it be.
sometimes my original meaning gets lost in the flood of words when I open channel so one hopes this mish-mash made sense to ya'll! and forgive me for airing such personal stuff into the universe but alas the book is open and sometimes in a tome ya gotta take the tales of woe with the fits of giggles!

the 8 of wands and the tower

todays cards are the EIGHT of WANDS and the Tower:

y'all all know that retrogrades play havoc but it doesn't have to be catastrophically "bad" if you plan and work the energy you can use it to clear away the debris and start fresh. that is... my advice because this 8 of wands is bringing that tower NOW! grab tight to that which matters and release the rest because as sure as the sun shall rise you're gonna have to deal with the chaos and make it work for you!
the trick is to let go of all the useless stuff gladly and allow yourself to evolve while in the midst of the shake up. it's like riding a great wave just keep your balance and stay on the crest cause if you fall it wont be fun or pretty!

todays card is JUSTICE:
this is all about fairness and balance. when dealing with all aspects of life. business, personal, and spiritual all need to be treated with equal respect and you need to walk your talk. you may be able to pull the w...ool over some peoples eyes but you cant run/hide from yourself!
and this image is most appropriate for being completely honest as wonder woman holds the golden lasso of truth! (on an aside W.W creator William moulton marston invented the lie detector) and will abide nothing but complete honesty, even and especially with thyself. so stop holding back and half-assing and throw all in. win or lose you're always better off in the long run being completely open with the universe.
that being sadi if you're dealing with a legal matter be completely above board but make sure there's no ambigious language in the document so it doesn't bite you in the butt. as you live a completely open life it's important to surround yourself with like minded people in all aspects of your existence.

there's actually so much to be thankful for, I like my job, I make plenty to get anything I want, I have wonderful friends/family, I can accomplish ANYTHING I set my mind to................but sometime those old demons just try to take hold. grief and angst are kinda insidious. i'll be having a GREAT day and then BAM they hit you from the side like a sucker punch. I tend to be pretty upbeat but I am human after all so I too get those useless unsatisfied moments of doubt and sorrow. I however refuse to allow melancholy to take hold of me and ruin my day so it's SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP TIME! I'm gonna post this then focus on my new daily post for timothy martin's page it's the 3 best things about your day , a good idea and exercise in gratitude! so for these purposes my 3 best things for yesterday were
1. saw a million ways to die in the west with friends, disgustingly funny! LMAO
2. redners puts a darn good scald on their fried chicken! it was YUMMY!
3. enjoying the small things in life, like watching a marathon of my love boat dvds. a silly feel good show where love always wins and the endings are happy! (albeit sappy! lol)
