happy birthday to the "fool"

todays card in honor of my day of birth is my life card the FOOL:
now many folks take a dim view of the fool, he's careless, an airhead, he never looks before he leaps, no planning or follow thru.a simpleton............well mayhaps but my v...iew (from the IN-side) is a different take on him. I never worry about the future or plan , my retirement fund isn't even a blip on the screen yet ( and I'm 46 today!)
I don't even know what i'll be doing next week, much less next year or in 5 years..............except i'll be happy, i'll be thriving, i'll be going forward cause fools NEVER look back! and to me that's a good thing. I go thru life secure in the knowledge that i'll be ok no matter what tragedy befalls me. goodness knows I haven't had what most would consider an easy life (orphaned at 10, on my own since 16) but it's MY life and it's been a GREAT life for me. mayhaps because I am the fool I simply walk thru life knowing that Spirit watches over me and everything will always work out for the best, it always has why shouldn't it continue. have I had some DEEP valleys of course but they built up my strength for the heights I've climbed to on those mountains of dreams I traverse............if I didn't understand darkness how could I enjoy the light of a brand new day dawning bright?
so worry not for this fool as I seemingly stumble thru the darkness willy nilly I'm simply dancing a dance of my own creation that others haven't quite caught up to and learned the steps!

elvira

ok now lets talk Elvira she's very much the queen of wands with a good dose of pentacles thrown in. she "...plays" the clueless macabre vixen to the hilt and all the while with tongue firmly in cheek and a wink-wink while laughing her way to the bank. she has stayed on point for over 30 years and her empire is going no where soon, even as she appears less and less "in character" she owns her own character so ALL the money is hers. a woman large and in charge who while playing the sex-kitten to the hilt is truly a feminist who has beaten guys at their own game and came out the Queen of the Macabre as well as the MISTRESS of the DARK!

temperance

todays card is TEMPERANCE:
we need balance in all things, physical. mental and spiritual in order to be truly whole and happy. it really is a tripod much like the stool the oracle at Delphi sat upon if one leg is shorter than the others the...n the whole thing is cattywampus and that can be catastrophic. so pay attention to YOU, the total you and do what needs be done to bring that harmony/balance to the forefront of your life. it will make you more content and prosperous in all things and as a ripple in the pond will send that out to everyone you come into contact with.
I feel there's someone who is having an issue with addiction , not in the heat of it but struggling with past issues and temptation, stay strong my friend. you can (and have) done this, the situation you're in is merely temporary and you KNOW going back down that slippery slope will not solve anything. in the end it would only destroy you. look within for you're stronger than you know!

the chariot

todays card of the day is the CHARIOT:
this is all about focus and balance. now is NOT the time to let things go willy nilly and think Spirit will take care of it. Spirit gives you opportunities but it's up to you what you do with them. you... really do get what you put in to most things.
so nose to the grindstone, blinders on, pay attention to the path and do not deviate at this time. forward momentum is VERY important as is balance. I know I'm one of the few who've actually driven a wagon (grew up on a farm) so it's like a car out of alignment if you turn the wheel lose you'll drive in a big ole circle and wind up right back where you started. that's not the way to evolve and move forward..............there's another saying this brings to mind
"TRUST IN ALLAH BUT TIE UP YOUR CAMEL"

todays card is the FIVE OF CUPS:
this is the suck it up buttercup card, life aint all that bad so quit acting like it is. stop moping and whining and focusing on all that you've lost or perceived you lost. stop existing in misey and start t...o LIVE!
no one's calling your bs because you play the guilt/mouning/woe is me victim so well. you should you've been doing it so long it's second nature now, a REALLY BAD habit you need to break. so here's your wake up call pull you head out of your arse and take a good long hard look around you. see all those blessings you've been ignoring while you were focused on what used to be. start celebrating them instead of lamenting things that you can never reclaim.
pick one thing a day that is positive and focus on it with your whole being. be thankful and dwell in gratitude even if you don't "feel" it yet. keep doing that every day and guess what before you know it that will be a habit and the lie will become your truth!

timothy tarot deck

exciting news to share Spirit has told me to create a deck. it's not a traditional tarot but based on my own reading format and using 22 Majors with the four elements instead of suits...........in the planning/idea/dream stage now but I'm b...ringing the thought form into reality by grounding it in the practical. I ordered blank tarot cards to practice designs ideas on today! WOOT! love when the Empress comes out to play and brings the Star along for inspiration!

the emperor

I have a tarot group tonight and we're gonna look into the Emperor so I'm gonna get an early start and do it here too!
he is stability and order, a regime that is laid over the freedom represented by the Empress. while she is life-giver an...d nature he is the laws/expectations of society and the following of rules. he is also enforcer/punisher often-times and the one who does NOT want reasons (which to him are excuses dressed up in ribbon) he is being rational and can help you to set up boundaries and to defend your ideals when the need arises.
he can also be overpowering if you let him and for those who are weak of heart/will he may rule you with an iron hand. if the Emperor is at work in your life you may need to have a backbone and opinion and make sure to be heard. use his authority and determination to put forth your will and to get results.............if he's the shadow you may need to get out from under his thumb or pull your head out of your but and have a reality check. only you know what role he plays in your realm and as with any of the majors it's all about how you define and design the world you live in. shore up the strengths and downplay the weaknesses and you'll be amazed what you can accomplish when "daddy-power" is put to the task!

it's petty, childish, and insidious........pay it no heed and do not engage the morons are fighting just for the sake of fighting with no real reason other than to s...pread chaos because if you were paying attention you'd be calling them on their BS.
this is just the type of situation and people you should avoid at all costs...............do not become I irate, scream, tell them off, and storm out, did I mention I wish I'd have pulled this card earlier? lmao cest le vie for mwah but consider yourselves warned!

tumbling down

todays card comes from the DREAMING GIRL HIGHWAY cards it's TUMBLING DOWN:
slow down and be aware of your surroundings. mayhaps the quickest way isn't the best. use your mind and figure out what works best for all and how to get there with ...as little effort and trauma as possible. meanwhile if you cant slow the ride then hang on and try to get the lesson that Spirit is gifting you. nothing is without reason and even this is a gift. just make sure you remember to open it!

todays card is the EIGHT of CUPS:
don't hang onto the comfort zone and stunt your growth, mayhaps it's time to turn your back on all of that and choose a new path, maybe THE path, you know the direction you need to go it makes you have butt...erflies in the tummy and scares you silly but if you admit it there's also an excitement underneath all that nervousness. focus on that and listen to your gut. those instincts are there to guide you and you can trust them.
I'm not saying the journey wont be difficult it may be but it may also be the hardest journey you ever LOVED!

todays card is the NINE of SWORDS:
you're in that moment between sleep and waking and just don't know which reality you're in, well trust me those insights you were given apply to the real world. the nightmare that just woke you screaming i...s your unconscious mind trying to free you from that comfy illusionary prison you've encased yourself in...........that may work for a while but like the boy in the bubble once the real world intrudes the illusion dies! better to face reality head on with a clear plan as to how to proceed, do not falter, nor doubt just put those blinders on and get it done ASAP! after all you deserve a world filled with real happiness and not just pretty lies to comfort you!

todays card is of course the EMPRESS in honor of Mothers Day:
she's all about creation and bringing forth into your life. in her most pure form it's the mother bringing forth the child from the protection of her womb into the great unknown ...world where he/she begins their own Journey of the Fool. so today we give thanks for all the tasks great and small and all the trials and tribulations as well as the triumphs and joys we all owe to our moms..............and a special shout out to the mother of all, MOTHER EARTH. do something to honor her today as well and don't forget to give your mama a BIG ole hug from Timothy's TAROT!

todays card is the 7 of CUPS:
feelin kinda wishy washy and unsure of how to proceed or what/whether you want to at all, WELL GET OVER IT! the universe is about change and progression if you remain in one place emotionally you'll stagnate ev...en a good place becomes contaminated if you never move the waters about.
so look around and pay attention to all of the opportunities for growth and prosperity that abound. you really can recreate your world/life and your destiny has yet to be written, you control where you wind up and how enjoyable the journey shall be. pay attention because what we're taught is mostly bunk! the whole nothing worth doing is easy, and no pain no gain stuff instilled into us as children comes from a place of shame and guilt and it just isn't so. i find that when i follow the universal flow things fall into place magically and it seems so easy. it's swimming upstream out of fear that makes things difficult. it's like the episode of voyager where janeway goes through all these horrendous trials to save her crewman because she believed she had to when the cure was there to be freely given had she but asked.
so stop debating, stop hesitating, stop doubting and LIVE YOUR DREAMS! NOW this very instant, the only thing stopping you is you!

todays card is the 10 of WANDS:
it's time to take a step back and re-evaluate what you can and/or want to do. saying yes out of a real desire to help is a wonderful thing but only up to the point you can handle it and do it well. becoming o...verburdened leads to burn out and a shoddy outcome too. and saying yes out of guilt is always going to be a no go. you don't do any favors by allowing yourself to be coerced, then instead of being helpful you become an enabler and that cheats the other person as well as you.
mayhaps you need to make a list of ALL your commitments and until you have finished them all and taken a breather do NOT accept any more tasks (personal or business). it's ok to put yourself first and some good old fashioned r and r is my prescription for y'all. read a book, take a bath, do some yoga, have a romantic night or a girls night out but do it asap cause you're headin for a breakdown otherwise!

wheel of fortune

todays card is the WHEEL OF FORTUNE:
so you're clueless about what to do, where to go, or how to achieve what you want. 1st things 1st get off your ass and do something, anything to get momentum going. spirit has so many options for you but... you need to get that wheel moving. stagnation and procrastination are the enemy here. indecision isn't acceptable decide on a path and then go for it, NOW this very minute. the only thing stopping you is fear, so tell that nagging doubtful voice to shut the hell up and make your dreams come true. after all what do you have to lose? if you get craps spin again in the end don't regret not taking chances make sure you LIVE your life and not just exist.

the tower

todays card comes from the Labyrinth Tarot (which I just ordered) it's a beautiful image of the TOWER:
the tower brings MAJOR change and for some that feels like a catastrophe, but it doesn't have to be. when the winds of change blow a gale... sometimes facing them headlong and embracing the crisp refreshing feeling works best. if change is inevitable why do we struggle so hard to maintain the status quo of a situation that we don't enjoy anyway?
so mayhaps we cant see clearly what the outcome will be as we take our dive headlong into the unknown but I prefer to get excited about the new opportunities that the universe shall unveil when the fog/mist has lifted.
after all when the hand of God strikes there is nothing you can do to go back (alas time-turners are only available in diagon alley and I don't know the password!) so dust yourself off stand tall and take that first step BOLDLY into a future of endless opportunity!

the world

todays card is the WORLD:
sometimes we think too small and focus on the miniscule when we need to think BIG and expand our idea of the possibility that abounds all around us. now at this time and place the WORLD is literally at our fingerti...ps. what do you want? need? desire? you can have it all if you're brave enough to go for it. that's right y'all just reach out and grab it!
the only thing limiting you is your belief that you can't do it and that's simply fear holding you back. so let go of all the ballast and soar!
I'm sure you've heard it, the world is your oyster but were you listening, really hearing and understanding what that actually means? I know and understand my place in the world I'm a light bearer, it's my job to shine light into the darkness so others can see the hidden and understand as I do that the unknown is not scary it's a warm enveloping blanket that protects and comforts you if you just accept it's embrace. I'm still finding new ways to do this and am excited to say i'll be creating my own deck shortly to help bring my world into yours!
