this is self imposed restriction and isolation. stop "feeling" helpless and acting like you need to be rescued, you're choosing to stay in a situation you could EASILY walk away fro...m because you're buying into the drama of it all. you are not a helpless damsel and making it seem so just brings you down to a level you shouldn't ever put yourself in, there is no white night upon a fiery steed so put on those boots and get walking and don't stop till you get yourself out of this mess you created. I KNOW how hard it is to believe in yourself and your own ability but by golly you just need to trust that you're more capable and strong than you think and then stop procrastinating and hesitating (or swooning if you're southern like me) and get er done!

you've put in all the work so why are you worried? it will all turn out but the size of the "harvest" is yet to be determined. but make sure you aren't worrying about keeping up ...with the jonses because comparing your success to others will only bring disappointment and depression. take hold of yourself and don't let that fear of failure ruin you when success is at hand. no one wants to hang out with mr/miss melancholy so grab those well worn bootstraps and yank HARD! get over yourself it aint that bad!

the wish card, I wish I may I wish I might............well you can the choice is yours from the highest to the lowest: beauty, healing, castle, treasure, honor, lower nature, to know ...the unknowable........so be careful what you wish for because as with anything there comes responsibility.
of course dreams and wishes are a wonderful thing as long as you dwell in reality. the shadow side are pipe dreams with no effort to make them real, illusion where you're simply fooling yourself. so by all means know thyself but then put what you know into practical use and you CAN have it all! ( physician heal thyself just sprang into mind as this card IS definitely one I'm living right now)

this card is VERY personal to me today! it's all about taking a stand and defending your ground. you're in the right so do not hesitate or falter stick to your guns and hold fast! t...here may be deception and a surprise attack as the enemy isn't who you thought it was. I shall not falter, I shall not back down, I shall not hesitate to state my case and I shall prevail. I AM ON MY FEET, I AM READY TO STAND!

this is the sneaky sneaky card, you've done something morally wrong but you feel justified. cheating in any way never turns out well, and whilst you might get away with it ONCE jus...t remember you're treading heavy on VERY thin ice and there will be consequences if you continue. deception for the sake of deception I'm sure y'all all known a person who'd lie if the truth was simpler and made more sense in some ways this feels pathological.

this is about having enough for yourself and enough to share. however it's also about balance so don't give more than you have and make sure those you share with are worthy of your... precious time/resources. sometimes you stay in an unhappy situation because it's the evil you know and it's in your comfort zone, mayhaps it's time to look at those whom you give and give to but receive nothing in return (not even gratitude or respect)

these are the sweetest childhood memories rich with a history of innocent emotions and those who bring that out in you. it's a blast from the past in the best possible way. but much lik...e the Mirror of Erised in Harry Potter make sure you're not living in that space of warmth and comfort and ignoring the things that need your attention in the present. it's fine to wax nostalgic in moderation like anything else!

this is success and achievement but be careful because others may be jealous of all you accomplish. it's also about reaching for the higher in all of us and conquering those "animal" instincts.

this can be the need to let others take control, be safe. don't rock the boat, pay attention to guides and dreams and any advice offered by spirit. conversely it can also be taking on... responsibility not yours but gaining satisfaction out of it. this can be an honor bound obligation or mayhaps it's time to let go of the grieving and leave the rough "waters" behind you and find your safe harbor.

avoid the petty conflict and take the "high" road!

this is arguing just to argue the nananananana... card

suck it up buttercup it aint all that bad!
FIVE OF PENTACLES:

this card is the wallows in it martyr card. poverty, illness, marriage trouble, job woes, health issues............but instead of taking the steps you need to to fix it or let it ...go and move on you decide to revel in your misery and bathe in self pity. it's ok to ask for help and it's ok to think outside of the box. mayhaps the same old same old has failed you so you just quit trying...........well get over it. grab those bootstraps and give em a hard yank and pull yourself out of this mess. it's ok to be happy and successful so let it go and just be your own bliss.

this is crying over spilt milk, and ignoring all the good still in your life. it's grief and despair that overwhelms but why do you focus all your energy on the bad can be about acceptance and responsibility. pay attention to all the joyful things that happen around you and pull your focus back into the present the past is gone it cant be changed but the future can!

this is petty bickering just for the sake of bickering. they're simply sparring because they enjoy conflict. it means nothing do not let yourself be pulled into this silly mess it's mock warfare and no one could tell you what it's about if they tried...........so unless you enjoy being a referee and drama ever so avoid this at all costs.

this is conflict and being out of balance. you may win the battle through any means necessary but at what cost to your soul? was/is it worth it and did you sacrifice the "high ground..." and lose the war in the process? stop being petty or sinking to that level, you are better than that so hold your ground but do not lower your standards being "right" isn't more important than being kind or loving even if it makes you appear weak to others. so what? know your heart know your mind know your soul and always take the high road. it may be less traveled but the view is spectacular!

today we start looking at the fives.............
but I don't wanna! this sucks, I hate this, why!?
fives really are the brats of the minor arcana. they're like the sleep deprived little 5 year olds at the party hyped up on sugar and emotion... who throw a fit and ruin all your planning and hard work. definatley impulsive and not wanting structure even if it's good for them/the situation. probably the most difficult minor cards to traverse. yep you're gonna need your wits about you and lots of PATIENCE too!

todays fellowship of the fool card is the FOUR OF PENTACLES:
this is the miser card, he has plenty but isn't satisfied he wants it all and has no intention of sharing with anyone. that bein said there are times when you need his frugality a...nd stability if you're out of control financially. it's all about balanace having enough to meet you needs while helping those less fortunate. and if this shows up around a business venture I'd pass at this time till things are better aligned.

I call this the "SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP" card. it's apathy, dis-satisfaction, boredom, discontent, uncommitted, depressed and for absolutely no reason at all. spirit/the universe has giv...en you endless opportunity and you have chose to ignore it, putting in no effort at all and them blaming everyone else for your angst. well get over it! grab those bootstraps and pull yourself up if you're discontent you are the only one who can change it so change it or wallow silently in your own misery cause the rest of us are too busy livin our bliss to waste empathy/sympathy on someone who has everything and yet sees nothing. this card twerk me BIG time, I know so many people who fail to put in the time then wail and moan about getting nowhere............GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

this card is about leaving behind the old confusing ways and celebrating the joy of the new, a celebration of intent and purpose. if you're lucky enough to be invited do not hesitate to go with joy in your heart. this is a themed blessed celebration and I'm betting there are more than 50 people in attendance of all types! so it'll be an eclectic hoot!

this is a clear warning to slow down, reevaluate and proceed with caution. it could be your own funeral you're attending either figuratively or literally. spirit doesn't give any cle...arer of a message to take care of you so it's best to heed this warning. it might not even be serious especially if you take care of it............are you getting enough sleep, meditating, eating right? how about getting off your butt and moving ( that's my clear message!) as you should!
spiritually it can mean stagnancy and holding back, why are you afraid to take care of you? self love is neither selfish nor wrong. your body is the temple spirit gave you so why not tend it as a sacred space. after all it's the only vessel your soul currently has and if it falls into disrepair then so does the spirit.
mayahsp you're already feelin those nagging pains in the joints, headaches, or just plain exhaustion. that is neither a sign of aging or what happens with the change of seasons. it IS spirit trying to get you to pay attention so dear ones if you've been putting off that new health plan, trip to the dr, work out, new project, rest and relaxation then NOW IS THE TIME to take care of it and you in the process!
so stick to those resolutions and make this the year of YOU!
