for those who don't know a brief explanation.........it's a 10 card spread past present future. the 1st three are past with the fourth bein what is carrying over into the present, thus the 7th card carries over into the future.
(I normally don't add pics but felt called to do this).............the lotus blooms no matter what is has been through, and the deeper the mud the more spectacular the bloom
PAST = justice, 7 of wands, hierophant, 5 of cups
JUSTICE:
justice is a double edged sword it metes out right and wrong to strike a balance. it's also tempered within societies standards. and while not always what we want to happen I think it had to happen. sometimes we go through things not pleasant that we don't truly understand so that spirit can get us ready for the next thing, a better thing.
7 of WANDS:
this is all about keeping the high ground. who/what you think is the enemy may not truly be. there are unseen forces at work. do NOT step or look back you could lose the high ground. be viligent and do not falter.
THE HIEROPHANT:
this is tradition or coming from a very rigid background. carrying on in the same manner whether or not it serves a purpose anymore. it's almost stagnant. it's ok to question that status quo and you may have to to let go and move forward.
5 of CUPS
when you've experienced a loss you grieve, many wear the cloak of grief and despair, but you can't mourn what you'velost to the exclusion of what you have...........never let you past be bigger than your dreams. what has ended is no more, but you have so very much to be thankful for. the 5 reminds you to have joy and appreciation for all the universe has to offer.
PRESENT = remember the lesson of the 5 and keep that appreciation of life going, 2 of cups, the devil, the magician
2 of CUPS:
this card represents balance and the need to stay balanced, that which heals can kill if you use too much. this is an emotional contract between absolute equals towards a future. and i'm not bein shown any other details on this.
THE DEVIL:
the devil is bein chained to earthly desire and ruled by baser emotions. there's a control issue here. it would be so easy to go in an unhealthy direction at this point cause the high road seems to have so many obstacles but it is worth the effort. this also shows the need for balance and just focusing on that goal and letting earthly desires derail you.
THE MAGICIAN:
a very powerful male capable of being quite overwhelming and over powering. he can lay passion aside and be maddeningly intellectually controlled. a very practically controlled person. he does all he does in perfect order and expects the same from everyone.
FUTURE=, that magician is still around affecting everything 9 of swords, queen of swords, and 4 of cups
9 OF SWORDS:
this is the "AHA" moment the waking into reality and dispelling the illusion. trust your instinct/insight and react accordingly even if the brain tries to talk you out of it. dispel that cloud of confusion around you and pay attention to those insights garnered in the dream world. it's time to face and see the truth.
QUEEN OF SWORDS:
she is a stern judgemental female who is never quite satisfied. right is right wrong is wrong and there are no extenuating circumstances of shades of grey. there's no listening to others because she feels she's incapable of making mistakes and once decided there will be no looking back. sometimes though in order to get past something you have to become rigid and not give in. there is mayhaps a reason for the way she has become. i'm sensing fair complexion and auburn/brownish hair.
4 OF CUPS:
this is attaining all you thought you ever wanted and not being satisfied. something is missing but you don't neccesarily know what at this point. the need to commit to a path and keep going without deviation is vitally important. i'm not saying to lower standards but mayhaps lower expectations and just be open to gratification for any and all that the universe has to offer.
I felt the need to pull 3 more cards as this seemed unfinished to me.
FUTURE: that 4 and being open/grateful continue to be important, 4 of pentacles, the tower, page of swords
4 OF PENTCLES:
you need to be frugal at this time and don't waste any money or effort unnecceasarily. if you're offered an opportunity i'd pass, at the very least cover you ass legally and financially.
THE TOWER:
this is the culmination of all the turmoil it's the universe sweeping all the bad negative bs out of the way. the ending of the cycle and the old so that you have room in your life for the next thing and it shall be a better thing. trust the process and know it'll be ok but keep those insurance premiums paid!
PAGE OF SWORDS:
he's here to put to rest that whole cycle that ended and allow you a clear path to move on. legally, financially, and emotionally. he is the righter of wrongs and all shall be as it was meant to be.
I simply NEVER end a reading on a page, it's way to open ended for me so I pulled one last card and it's a dilly! (in a good way!)

this is success, it's the parade after the battle when the hero is bein cheered by his peers. a great achievement has been made and all the sacrifice and struggle was worth it. and through this whole process you've gained wisdom that will hold you in good stead for the future. enjoy it because you have earned and deserve it.
