this is beginning to see the truth but choosing not to do anything about it. mayhaps you're enjoying your role as the damsel in distress because any attention even negative attention... still makes you feel wanted/needed. you have the knowledge and resources to "rescue" yourself so stop with the victim mentality and fear and be brave and bold! if this is referring to a friend and not yourself remember there is a fine line between being there as support and being an enabler. now is the time to get on your feet and make your STAND!
